Flu When Pregnant Schizoprenia bear children at risk

Pregnant women should really keep his health. One study reported that women who had the flu while pregnant gave birth to a child at risk with schizoprenia mental illness when the child is growing up. When young adulthood, the child may experience symptoms like a madman.

In the first study, researchers used mice. The rats were given a chemical compound that resembles the work of producing flu virus or the immune system attacks the body. Mice were used as objects of study of pregnant mice (pregnant). During the infection, mice monitored brain scans using MRI.

The results show that children born to mice fed mice the compound was normal virus. But when he entered young adulthood, these rats began to show symptoms of schizophrenia.

The same is also seen in humans, where early symptoms of schizophrenia occurred at the age of 20 years. Scan results show there are signs that lead to diseases such as schizophrenia and ventricular enlargement in the brain fluids.

"If the pregnancy-related illness with the virus, it should be wary of the future child's brain development because of the risk szhizoprenia could happen," said Professor Ina Weiner of the Department of Psychology at Tel Aviv University as reported by TimesOnline, Friday (5/2/2010).

But in the Journal of Biological Psychiatry stated that the use of antipsychotic drugs that just before entering young adulthood can reduce that risk.

Patients with schizophrenia usually experience symptoms such as hallucinations, hearing voices that can not be heard by others or believes that others can read their minds, controlling their thoughts, and even more dangerous than that.

These symptoms can make them scared and quiet. Talk and their behavior can become chaotic that they can not understand or frightening to others.

No one knows the exact causes of schizophrenia because the researchers did not understand what factors are causing the occurrence of schizophrenia.

But in the modern biologimedical study is probably due to genes, abnormalities during brain development, and other things that can cause disease.

to it, pregnant women should avoid exposure to infections that can trigger the virus during the critical period of fetal brain development.

Consumer Electronics Make Children Less Intercourse

Technological advances have given two different sides. Not only obtained a positive side but there are also negative sides, especially the children.

These technological advances make children spend more time with these things than to socialize with others.

The existence of electronic goods such as television, video games, mobile phone or computer to make the children spend a third day with this multimedia.

Researchers found children aged 8-18 years old spend more time outside of school with this stuff than playing with his friends.

This electronic revolution has made the children with easy access to various television programs, music, movies or games. These results can be very concerned about the welfare of the child.

"This situation is very sad, because some parents actually use these electronic devices to stay calm so that their children look like opium for them," said Michele Elliott, Kidscape psychologist, as quoted from the TimesOnline, Monday (1/2/2010).

Elliot describes the children who use these electronic goods has indirectly restrict the ability of communication or berinteraksinya with others.

These children may be adept when speaking in words, but this ability may not be as good if these kids have to face to face with someone else.

"In order not to hinder the development of the child, parents should limit the amount of time children in the use of electronic goods is especially if the child is still very small," said Elliot.

The experts themselves have differing opinions about the impact of excessive use of electronics in terms of health, emotional well-being and social skills.

Professor Rupert Wegerif of the University of Exeter reveals the use of electronics could also have a positive impact as to make children become more creative and highly interactive.

Even so parents still have to limit the amount of time spent by children in the use of electronic devices, so that children can socialize and interact with others directly.

It is also important to build confidence of the child and that children do not grow into a shy person. (Source: detik.com)

Fortunately Loss for Men Vasectomy

Vasectomy operation spermatozoa inhibits the channel (vas deferens) that carry sperm out. This operation is usually performed in a clinic or hospital with cuts and binding involving death (cauterizing) the sperm channel.

However, because this operation is permanent contraception, the man who wants to do must be absolutely sure do not want to have another child and will not change his mind.

The man who has done vasectomy still continues to produce cells that produced the seed balls. It's just because the line is disconnected can not go out with ejaculation. Seed cells will be absorbed by the body and does not endanger health. Vasectomy did not affect the hormone testosterone.

As quoted from contraception, Friday (29/1/2010), there are some advantages and disadvantages of contraceptive vasectomy namely:

Benefits

1. Vasectomy is a minor surgery that is safe, highly effective and permanent.
2. Whether done on men who did not want to have kids.
3. Vasectomy is cheaper and fewer complications than tubal sterilization.
4. Men have the opportunity to turn family planning with his wife.
5. Does not affect the ability of a man in enjoying sexual relationships.

Losses

1. Some men fear a vasectomy will affect his ability having sex or cause erection problems.
2. There is little pain and discomfort a few days after surgery, this pain can usually be relieved by the consumption of soft drugs.
3. Often have to do with an ice pack for 4 hours to reduce swelling, bleeding and discomfort and had to wear pants that can support the scrotum for 2 days.
4. The operation is not effective immediately. Patients were required to wear a condom beforehand to clean the tube from the rest of the existing sperm. To know is sterile or not, microscopic examination is usually performed 20-30 times after ejaculation.
5. Vasectomy does not provide protection against sexually transmitted infections including HIV.
6. Regret after vasectomy is greater if the man was still under the age of 25 years, there has been a divorce or a child who died.
7. It takes 1-3 years to really determine whether vasectomy could work effectively 100 percent or not.

Human Ability Maximum Running 64 km/hour

What is the maximum speed of man run? Scientists find biological men can run up to a maximum speed of 40 miles per hour (mph) or 64 kilometers per hour. This figure is much faster than the speed of 12 miles of the world's fastest sprinter Usain Bolt.

With the ability of 40 mph, a man capable of crossing the finish line 100 meters race during the 6.67 seconds, or the same time from Bolt to reach 60 meters. Bolt is the Olympic record holder for 100 meters for 9.58 seconds (41 steps).

Scientists calculate that the maximum speed by calculating the rate of speed of muscle in the body that are biologically able to move.

Previous studies have assumed a major barrier to the escape velocity as a member of the body can only take some power just when it slid to the ground. But new research suggests ototlah muscle contractions which holds an important key.

As reported by the Telegraph, Tuesday (26/1/2010), Dr Matthew Bundle, biomechanics expert from the University of Wyoming said the speed of muscle contraction speed allows people to run 35-40 miles per hour or even faster.

In the study researchers used a high-speed treadmill capable of recording speeds of 40 mph, and then measurements were taken at each step foot. This research has been published in the Journal of Applied Physiology.

Strength when jumping with one leg who applies exceed 30 percent if done by walking. Active force produced by the muscles of limbs approximately 1.5-2 times greater in one leg jump.

Dr Bundle and colleagues said their research shows running speed limit set by the limits of the muscle fibers themselves. Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt could be close to 28 mph (44.8 km) in the 100-meter run. While the lion can run 50 mph when chasing prey and cheetah can reach a speed of 70 mph.

Professor Peter Weyand, a psychologist and researcher from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, said the notion that speed is limited by the force with limb movement to the surface of the foot is something that makes sense.

Prevent Child Legged O and X

Parents should consider how child walk. If parents saw how to walk funny and not like other toddlers, so there's no harm to check the condition of his leg bone.

Toddler gait is very diverse, there is a walk with his legs spread, her feet turned into (like the letter O), turned her feet out (like the letter X) and walking on tiptoe.

Most of the defects in the child's feet are neglected except for very heavy so the children began to complain. Most forms of abnormal foot in infants will be back straight by itself until a certain age.

As quoted from The Baby Book written by William and Martha Sears, Friday (22/1/2010) there are some normal developmental schedule for your feet and legs toddler, namely:

1. Babies have bent legs from birth until the child learns to walk.
2. Turn your foot on the inside (like the letter O) until the age of 2 years, if no abnormalities then will return to normal feet.
3. Your foot in the play out (like the letter X) from the age of 3 years to a maximum of 7-year-old child. If no abnormalities, then the child will return to normal.

Children with obesity tend to have an O shape leg, is due to foot and have to bear excess weight. Child's feet can return to normal if the child on a diet since the age of a toddler.

If the baby until the age was also not normal, then parents can do their own investigation first. How to euthanize the baby and her legs straightened position and see if foot is symmetrical or not, is there any form of slightly curved bone, a long note from your child's feet and if the kids like stumble when you're running.

Having found any signs of abnormality, should parents bring children to the orthopedic specialist that can still be cured. The doctor usually will find out in advance what causes these abnormalities. Usually O foot deformity caused by the lower leg bent into the (internal tibial torsion / ITT) or because of the upper leg bones are bent inwards.

The care provided is in the form of therapy. In some treatments, the child will be given a brace for your feet do not roll into or out of the placed on a special shoe.

Also avoid sleeping with your child curled up, do not let children sit with legs bent position and pressed back, get the children sit cross-legged position or straightened leg forward and get used to sitting and sleeping child in the correct position to reduce the risk of a defective form of the foot .

If this disorder can be known at an early stage and can be helped, it can prevent other orthopedic problems later on. In addition the child will not be embarrassed because his appearance is different from other kids.
